Explore Saint Lucia With Me
Hey everyone! Join me in this video as I explore Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. This is my first time visiting the island and I really enjoyed my time here. During my week in Saint Lucia I hiked Pigeon Island and took a fun boat trip to Sugar Beach and the Soufriere Hot Springs. I hope you enjoy the video.
Some Info
Saint Lucia is an Island in the east of the Caribbean. The beautiful scenery and hot weather has made it a popular holiday and honeymoon destination. The island is now home to many luxury resorts along side the sandy volcanic beaches and local fishing villages. Probably the most well known feature of Saint Lucia is the Pitons which are two mountains on the west coast. Between the pitons is the famous Sugar beach which is a popular snorkelling spot. Other popular activities include visiting the hot springs inland and enjoying a boat trip.
Some people also choose to hike up the Pitons, the trip is estimated to take 3-6 hours and it definitely seems to be on the more difficult side. An easier hike you could do instead is up to signal peak on Pigeon island. Pigeon island is a national park towards the north of the island. It took me about 40 minutes to reach the top of the island but this was with many stops as the heat does still make it quite difficult. I would definitely recommend getting out to see some of the island though, even if you don’t make it to the top of any of the peaks.
