Edinburgh Photobook and Guide

Edinburgh is a beautiful city with many things to explore and see. There are many spots throughout the city you will likely of seen captured on your Instagram feed. From stunning landscapes to great backgrounds for a selfie, here are my favourite photo spots in Edinburgh.

Calton Hill

Close to the centre of Edinburgh, Carlton hill is a great look out point over the city. It is also home to a few different monuments and statues which are great to capture alone or pose with. The Nelson monument can be seen as you make your way up the hill. It is a fairly easy walk to the top and you will be greeted with amazing landscapes all around.

Victoria Street

A really popular photo spot is Victoria street. The cobblestone street is lined with colourful buildings which makes it a must visit to add to your photo album. And for any Harry Potter fans, the street is said to be part of the inspiration for Diagon Alley. There is also a Harry Potter themed shop located here and many other unique stores to check out.

Dean Village

Take stroll away from the busy city centre to explore some more of Edinburgh’s beautiful scenery. Dean Village is about a 20 minute walk from Edinburgh Castle, situated on The Water of Leith. Enjoy the nature and interesting buildings you can capture here. Along the water of Leith you will also come across the Rhema Christian Centre Church which looks great from on or below the bridge.
