Holidays in Antalya
Antalya is one of Turkeys most popular tourist areas. With a coastline filled with beaches, boats and hotels its a great place for a weeks getaway. Between May and October you can also expect lovely sunny weather in Antalya, with the hottest month being July with highs of around 35°C.
Old Town
If you are planning a trip to Antalya you should make sure to spend at least one day visiting the city and old town. Antalya used to be a large roman port so there is plenty of history to explore or just enjoy the sights and buildings as you wander the streets. The old town is filled with little shops to explore. I personally love looking at all the little trinkets and souvenirs on offer. Follow the roads down to the harbour which is a lovely place for a bite to eat whilst watching the boats.
The Land of Legends
The Land of Legends is a large theme park and resort about 30minutes away from the centre of Antalya. Along with the theme park and water park the resort also has a hotel and a shopping avenue. The shopping area is free to visit and you can see the amazing castle and sculptures they have. It is also all lit up beautifully at night if you wanted to grab dinner here.
You can enter the Water park and theme park on a combined ticket and there are plenty of rides and attractions to keep you entertained for the whole day.
