Cappadocia in Turkey is an amazing place to visit. From it’s unique landscape to the unmissable hot air balloon sunrises it truly makes for a great trip. There are also lots of good food options, here are my four favourites from my visit last year.
1. Kale Terrasse
This is a great restaurant on one of the main streets in Cappadocia. Out of all the restaurants we went to this one had the most menu options. Nice outside seating and good service, I really liked my meal here.
2. Sunshine Cafe
A friendly little cafe for light bites and cake! We popped in here a couple of times on our trip to have a break and drink. They had a wide range of great desserts and cakes and also lots of different milkshake flavours which I loved.3. Kebapzade
Another nice restaurant is Kebapzade which offered some great traditional dishes. The pottery kebab is an Anatolian specialty which they open the pot and serve to you at your table. This restaurant is also connected to the Cappadocia Bazaar confectionary shop down the road. We got some amazing Turkish delight from this shop.
4. Bubble Waffle Cappadocia
Bubble waffle is a fun food stand located near the open air museum. We headed here after a morning of exploring and it was a great sugary boost. There was a wide range of toppings to pick from and they come with the tradition Turkish ice cream which has a stickier consistency.
Along with the great food, there are so many great things to do and see in Cappadocia. Click Here to check out my post about the 7 best things to do in Cappadocia.
